Paducah United is a Social Welfare Organization that promotes commerce in the Paducah area by advocating for a competitive business environment fostered by open, fiscally responsible, and transparent government.
We believe in open meetings, transparent government, and freedom of speech. We believe in civil dialogue between our government and people. We believe that public comments should be permitted at all City Council meetings.
We are for government that fosters a healthy and productive business environment for the people of Paducah.
We believe that government works best for the people when our officials are diligently held accountable for their actions through elections and legal process
We believe in special elections initiated by petition. So that when elected officials fail to uphold the will of their constituents, the recalled representative may be removed from office.
We are welcoming of all persons regardless of political affiliation, race, color, national origin, sex, religion, or age.
Code of Conduct for Social Media & Gatherings
It is the goal of Paducah United to foster a safe and respectful environment for us to communicate and debate our values.
Hate speech, racial slurs, and other direct and personal attacks or threats will not be tolerated.
Our Social Media presence and Gatherings are family friendly and people of all ages are encouraged to attend. Our decorum and behavior should foster a family friendly environment.
Excessive “trolling” on social media, and activity not on topic may result in a warning, repeated “trolling” activity may result in a ban.
No unofficial fundraising activity, or un-approved calls to action should take place on social media. Calls to Action and Fundraising Activity shall only take place on PaducahUnited.org.
No representative of Paducah United will ever collect donations. Donations will only be collected through the mail or on PaducahUnited.org; however representatives are encouraged to reach out for donation pledges. Pledges will receive a welcome packet with instructions on how to make a donation.
Unapproved advertising, linking, and solicitation may result in a ban.
